Evin used to be scared of the dark until the moment she stood in her backyard in the middle of the night where she heard some birds sing. That caused such a feeling of safety and trust inside of her that goose bumps covered her skin. In that seemingly scary situation she felt home. One can have trust in the unknown. In a world full of distractions it‘s important to remember our roots and the hopeful words of the old lullabies that our mothers and fathers used to sing us to sleep with.
